Doll Contest!
Hello Everyone!
This is Sally and she’s looking for a new home.All you need to do is leave a comment and I’ll randomly select someone on the 30th of November.. plenty of time for her to come home for Christmas! Contest is open to everyone, everywhere!
The super sweet little sewing machine was made by my good friend Mike, partner of Constance- the lady that designs Bamboletta clothes. He has child size versions of this that are so cute and they are made with all locally sourced wood. We have one and Benjamin is constantly on it sewing alongside mama. P.S. I must tell you that your dolls have changed my life. Their magic is absolutely breathtaking. I am a medical student and I find replenishment in the toys and joyfulness of Waldorf education and the simple world of gnomes and fairies. Your dolls are the most beautiful Waldorf dolls I have ever seen. I can’t afford one- due to student loans- but I check your site once a day just to look at them!

Hello! Your dolls really are beautiful. I can see that you go the extra mile to infuse them with personality and spirit. I have just ordered a custom doll from you, but realize that it is most likely impossible for you to make one in time for Christmas.

what a beautiful doll! i wasn’t going to enter as i already have one of your lovelies and ru’s not quite big enough for this gal, but when i saw that her name was sally, and that she has red hair, and is wearing a kimono with birds on it, i knew it was a sign that i just had to enter – my dear friend g., who’s mum died of cancer was named sally, had red hair, and a special relationship with birds, is traveling, seeking roots and reflecting on her mum’s passing. perhaps it will come that this little doll will be meant to be be hers? would be so darling. btw, g.’s 31.

Oh, she is so adorable. I’m a knitter, and I love that I can sometimes identify the yarn you use for the dolls hair. I could be wrong, but this one looks like Fleece Artist Curly Locks. It makes such sweet doll hair!

Your dolls are absolutely gorgeous! I would love one for my 28 month old daughter Maddie. I love the picture of your son nursing his doll. My Maddie and I are still a nursing couple and we don’t meet too many others like us in our area. I can’t wait for Maddie to start pretend nursing her dolls. It is so important for children to see images of nursing as natural, normal behavior. They are bombarded with images of baby bottles every where in our culture. je trouve cette poupée magnifique(comme toutes celles qui sont sur ce site),je suis émerveillée tout est super: ses yeux, sa bouche, son p’tit nez et cette chevelure!!!!

My little girl would just ADORE it if she was to open up one of your dolls for Christmas. Her daddy is in Iraq, so this would be such a wonderful companion for her to have while waiting for my husbands safe return.

Oh my! I can’t even begin to say how beautiful your dolls are. I received the ones I ordered for my girls and they are seriously like little people! I am having a hard time keeping them in their box in my closet until Christmas…it just doesn’t seem right!
My girls are going to absolutely love them, I know they will be their new best friends. Thanks so much for helping to make this such a special Christmas for them! I truly am speechless over just how beautiful these dolls really are! Thanks again Christina!

Our Maddie is 9 and has a little patch of red frizz because her hair refuses to grow. She also has a communication disorder and doesn’t speak much. But she loves dolls with red hair like her sister. We would love to have Sally for Madeleine. Thank you for your beautiful creation.

…I forgot to add that if we are the fortunate ones to win Sally, I would bring my girls down to the local children’s hospital closer to Christmas and let them give her to another child who could most certainly use a “friend.” Thanks again, Christina.
